Institute of National Remembrance

This dark, minimalist space is designed around functional efficiency, which is echoed in the use of materials. Polished concrete and black, dramatically lit walls juxtapose red raw brick. The design alludes to the past, exposing the existing brick, while introducing contemporary feeling to the space with minimalist additions to give the space character and atmosphere, all while fulfilling the functional requirements of the exhibition.
